Show Kitchen Chef Workshops 2025 Took Place! 🍽️
Organized within WorldFood Istanbul, the Show Kitchen Chef Workshops and Chef Talks concluded between 2–5 September 2025 with spectacular shows and inspiring workshops. Under the theme "From Nature to Digital, From Seed to Table: Food Awakens!", culinary creativity, gastronomic innovations, and sustainability trends came together.
Highlights from the Program:
• "Endless Cups: Zero-Waste Beverages" – An inspiring session on preparing drinks with a zero-waste approach and using sustainable materials.
• "Super Bowls: Fermentation, Zero-Waste Kitchen, and Alternative Flavors" – Led by Ceyda Artun (Food Designer & Storyteller) and Ferhat Bora (Chef & Content Creator), this workshop presented creative recipes with perspectives on fermentation and waste-free cooking.
• "Redefining Protein: Superfood Recipes" – Guided by Yasin Taze, functional nutrition-focused recipes were shared.
• "The Undiscovered Flavors of Cypriot Cuisine" – Refika Birgül brought the unique richness of Cypriot cuisine to the stage.
• "Chefs’ Playground: Extraordinary Flavors and Surprise Combinations" – Hazer Amani, Özlem Mekik, and Yağız İzgül delighted the audience with bold flavor ideas and surprising recipes, turning the kitchen into a playground of creativity.
Experience & Memorable Moments
• On a stage sponsored by Öztiryakiler, chefs met with audiences to share planet-friendly cooking tips and creative recipes.
• Live performances were held using products supplied by exhibitors; visitors both tasted the dishes and closely followed the preparation process.
• Sustainability, smart agricultural products, and superfoods were among the standout themes on the Show Kitchen stage.
Visitors had the chance to interact directly with the chefs, asking questions about recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques. Tastings, surprise combinations, and interactive workshops enriched the gastronomic experience with active participation.
