For how long has your company been active in Turkish market?


In 2016, our company founded in 1979 has been active in the vegetable oil sector for 38 years. It ranked 102nd in the ISO Top 500 Industrial Enterprises and 7th in the EBSO Top 100 Companies.

Have you promoted any new products this year?


We did not promote any new products in the first 6 months of 2017.

What do you think about Turkish market in relation to your sector?


We produce sunflower seed oil, which is dependent on import. We have to save our sector from being foreign-dependent in terms of raw material. Lately in Turkish market it can be observed that the PRIVATE LABEL (PL) sales, meaning market-branded sales, are pushing branded sales aside. In terms of oil consumption, the sunflower seed oil sales in the domestic market seem to be leading in tonnage.

What do you aim to achieve by attending WorldFood Istanbul?


With WorldFood Istanbul, we aim to develop the relations with our customers in the domestic market, increase our foreign export potential and earn our company new markets.
